Decorah Chorale – Chorale Cabaret

Decorah Chorale is an auditioned community choir of eighty dedicated singers from Decorah, Iowa, and the broader NE Iowa and SE Minnesota region.

Founded in 1996, the ensemble is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching its community through music.

Members range in age from eighteen to over eighty and bring diverse musical experiences.

Supported by freewill offerings, the Chorale donates much of its concert proceeds to local charities—giving over $51,000 to the Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity and Decorah Community Food Pantry to date.

Under the guidance of conductor Jason Rausch and collaborative pianist Nicholas Shaneyfelt, the ensemble shares a passion for creating memorable musical experiences.
